Alternative Dispute Resolution mediation is an attractive, pragmatic alternative to litigation. It provides the opportunity to expedite resolution of disputes at a fraction of the cost of litigation. ADR may be employed before, during, or even after litigation, while appeals or post-trial motions are pending.
The Honorable Graham T. Ross (“Tom Ross”) leads our Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”). Judge Ross is one of the pioneers of mediation as an alternative to costly and protracted matrimonial litigation. During his tenure as Chair of the Conference of Family Division Presiding Judges, Tom played an integral role in developing the pilot for the mandatory program for mediation of matrimonial matters. In addition to matrimonial matters, Judge Ross mediates all areas of complex civil disputes. He also provides valuable counsel to our litigation attorneys who frequently resolve matters through arbitration and mediation.
